Everything Elvis and More
After taking some unplanned time off, it's time for me to get back into the manuscript on Kathy's days before, during and after, Elvis full-time. I'm looking forward to making some important announcements soon.
The auction ends tonight at 8:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on the $50 GameStop card (redeemable in any GameStop store), personal letter from Kathy Westmoreland and letter of authenticity at 8:00 p.m. So be sure you send your bid or questions to me at jmoore475@comcast.net if interested in this once-in-a-lifetime package.
ONCE IN A LIFETIME OFFER
Kathy was given a $50 GameStop gift card for Christmas. Now that she won’t be using it, she has decided to sell the card. It’s made out to her, but of course can be used by anyone at any GameStop store IF they decide to use it.
HOWEVER, instead of just selling the card outright, she’s decided to have a little fun by auctioning it off.
Now for the fun part. She’s going to write a personal letter to the winning bidder to send with the card. Talk about a once-in-a-lifetime autograph!
Send your offers to me at jmoore475@comcast.net . The bidding will end on Monday April 12. I’ll release the winning bidders name on Tuesday April 13.
The GameStop card itself is worth $50. The letter from Kathy -- PRICELESS.
Believe me, you’ll never see this offer again anywhere so get your offers in quick.
We’ll of course be adding a letter of authenticity to the package.

John Wilkinson: Update
Again, there is some disappointing news regarding John Wilkinson's health problems. Yesterday John's wife Terry called and informed ElvisMatters that John had broken a bone in his left arm ("on the bad side of his body"). He felt very sick and while he and his wife were waiting for the ambulance to arrive, John fell from the stairs and broke his arm. John was taken to the hospital in Springfield, MO, where he’ll spend the next week – or possibly longer. John is in a lot of pain and tries to get as much sleep as he can. Please keep the prayers coming!

Myrna Smith is hospitalized in London. Myrna was on her way home from the Elvis Presley In Concert Tour, when she suddenly had to be rushed off the airplane. Myrna had been battling pneumonia and kidney problems during the entire tour. But like a true professional, Myrna kept TCBing! Myrna is expected in Vienna on Monday to work with Dennis Jale. We wish Myrna a quick recovery.

Sylvia Shemwell passed away
It is with great sadness that we have to report the death of Sweet Inspiration member Sylvia Shemwell. As most Elvis fans know, original member Sylvia Shemwell suffered a stroke several years ago (2001) and her recovery has been slow, with her ability to speak and sing greatly compromised. Sylvia will be remembered fondly by millions of Elvis fans all over the world.

I've handed the manuscript I'm writing on Kathy Westmoreland, her days before, during and after Elvis, over to my editor for final editing. It won't be long now, until the book finally becomes a reality.June and Kathy on Twitter
